Holidays and Back to Hull!

By admin on April 17th, 2012

After a nice 3 weeks of holidaying, which was mostly scouting, I’m now back in Hull, and back to University. Luckily the first day back wasn’t very strenuous, but it seemed harder than usual getting up at half 7 for a 9 o clock Maths lecture. It’s good to be back in Hull and to be around everyone again, and I feel like I’ve done more coursework now I’m back here. I’ve got some Maths to finish, and a few more methods to add to the bank application for programming.

On Saturday, me and a few friends decided to go to Beverley to go to the Minster, which was lovely. The Minster itself was free to go in and look around, but we decided to pay £5 for the rooftop tour, which took you up into the space between the main Minster and the roof. This was well worth it, and I highly recommend it. Beverly itself was a very nice place, too, with a shop that did extremely nice ice cream, and another nice church not for from the Minster.  I’ve put a few photos on flickr, which are mainly from the other Church, as the Minster wouldn’t let you take photos without buying a photopass, which wasn’t worth it, as I hadn’t planned on taking photos and didn’t have a tripod, so all shots would have been high ISO fuzzy things. The photo above was stitched together using 12 images – watching the RAM and CPU cope with that was quite fun!

This is just a brief update to let people know I’m still alive. Back to working, now!
